This December, Wrights Roofing proudly took part in the EEM (Efficiency East Midlands) Christmas Foodbank Appeal 2025, joining forces with dozens of other contractors and suppliers to help ensure that no family in the region goes without this festive season.

Held annually, the appeal collects vital food and festive essentials for local families facing hardship — and this year was record-breaking. Thanks to the generosity of all involved, EEM collected an incredible 4 tonnes of donations and just under £2,000, which will be shared between two local food banks. That’s four times more than last year’s total, making 2025 the most successful appeal to date.

Wrights Roofing team members attended in person to deliver their contributions and show support for this important cause.

“As a company that works in homes and communities every day, we know the challenges some families face,” said Jacquie Harvey, General manager at Wrights Roofing. “It’s important to us to give back – especially at Christmas – and supporting EEM’s appeal is one small way we can make a difference.”

This foodbank appeal is just one example of the company’s wider commitment to social value and giving back — something that sits at the heart of their work.

EEM has shared their heartfelt thanks with all who took part this year, highlighting the impact these donations will have over the festive season. Food parcels and funds will be distributed through two key local foodbanks, helping ensure that families in need have both nourishment and a little joy this Christmas.
