Wrights Roofing recently had the pleasure of attending the Park Vale Academy Careers Fair, where they connected with students from Years 9 to 11 to showcase the many career opportunities available in the roofing industry.

Representing the company on the day were Amie Page (Contract Coordinator), Daniel Kelliher (Commercial Manager), and Yvonne Monk (Admin Support). Together, they hosted a vibrant stand filled with information, enthusiasm, and industry insight. Their presence sparked real interest from the students, who were keen to learn more about both on-site and office-based roles within the business.

“The stand was really well received, with lots of interest in roofing from all the students,” said Amie. “It was fantastic to see how engaged they were – asking great questions and showing genuine curiosity about the kind of work we do at Wrights Roofing.”

The event also offered a great chance to reconnect with Park Vale Academy, where Wrights Roofing previously supported a successful student work experience placement earlier this year.

Adding to the positive response, one of the school’s teachers – whose property had recently been re-roofed by the company – took a moment during the fair to share his appreciation. According to the team, he was “full of praise for Wrights Roofing,” further reinforcing the company’s strong local reputation.

Amie, Dan and Yvonne spoke to dozens of students throughout the morning, offering honest advice and answering questions about apprenticeships, training, and day-to-day life in the industry.
