In July we welcomed three work placement students from two local academies, and they threw themselves straight into it, heatwave and all.

From Bulwell Academy we had George Tatham and Grayson Harris-Dawson. From Park Vale Academy, Filip Rusiecki-Jablonski joined us too.

Over the week the students got a proper look at what goes into a working roofing business. They spent time out on site with our drivers, watched our roofers handle re-roofs and repairs, collected materials from merchants and paid a visit to our Warwick depot.

The team who worked alongside them had nothing but good things to say. The students were engaging, keen to learn and a pleasure to have on board.

George, Grayson and Filip all said they enjoyed the week and thanked the team at Wrights Roofing for having them.

It’s always good to see the next generation getting stuck in and finding out what a career in roofing actually looks like.
